I hate it...seriously I am hating all this bull shits to do this, do that, choose this, choose that, buy this, buy that...all bull shits...i do not understand if all these things are gonna make your marriage life blissful or even helpful in a way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These are all seriously bull shit...I am gonna look back at this post and tell myself that I wont want my children to suffer over the marriage matters...main thing they legalise their marriage @ Malaysia + Church...then I am satisfied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really stressed out with the whole pre wedding photo shoot thingy...
first of all, the weather is bad...raining heavily...
then the outcome of the photos are quite bad...
then the last straw is my mom not approving the chosen photo for her!!!!
I really stressed out and cried...
I could not understand why a single photo is so damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn important to be vertical or horizontal..to see the body or not to see the body...damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is raining, so heavily...I was extremely sad that there will be none blue sky photos...as I already paid for the shooting location but nothing comes well...

Axian Dim Sum, Puchong

Eugene, his parents and I went to Axian Dim Sum on Saturday morning.
I read some blog posts previously which really gave some good comments on the dim sum. So I am rather excited to try the dim sum.
However, the dim sum turned out to be so-so only given the price @ RM4.50 a basket!!!
The so called in-house specialty of har mai is a great disappointment. Most of the prawn dim sum are not nice because the prawns are not fresh.
I would give more credit to the normal pork siu mai, pai kuat and other pork stuffed dim sum. But just in comparison to the prawn dim sum; not that great after all :(
Anway, this is a one time visit for us.

ooh! I am so so so headache after driving so many cars....:S

These are my two cents:

i10 - NOISY. Too bad!!! If this car is quiet, make me feel comfortable, not headache, not dizzy...I will definitely get this car! too bad....
Getz - Better than i10. Comfortable...but a bit too expensive...:( and only the dull black, silver and maroon colors available...imagine that...
Saga - well...feel the car is heavy...I am already heavy...I want a car that makes me feel 'light'...
Savvy - AMT - what a funny car with dual mode...please forgive me, I do not know how to handle this car...
MyVi - well...feel okay with this car...the caribbean blue color is nice and makes you feel like in beach vacation :)
Viva - Surprise!!! This car actually surprised me...as it makes me feel comfortable... but a bit bumpy...

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

After some consideration...I should be getting MyVi...coz...

Golden Sands Resort Penang 10 Jan 2009 (Part 1 Kek Lok Si)

Today, we planned to go out to town. We are scheduled to take the shuttle bus by the resort at 10.30am.

Once we were at the town, we took a bus to Kek Lok Si.

Bubble gun @ Gurney drive

On Sunday nite, we went to Gurney drive to 'ambil angin'...

I went to Sg Petani on Friday for Kwai Hing's wedding. This was my first visit to Sg Petani actually ha ha...so I was kind of excited too...
Kwai Hing has booked a room at Swiss Inn for Mei Shin and I. So Eugene sent us there after lunch.
Upon arriving the hotel, we were rather tired, so we took a nap first...
Later on, Kwai Hing came find us before going out to dinner for the bride's side.

The Smiling Moon

I saw the smiling moon tonite around 8.14pm, thanks to Cavell!
When I looked out to the sky, I was really happy to see that warm smiling face...
I tried to take some pictures but too bad that the right "eye" Jupiter was not bright enuf to be captured...so sad...
However, I "stole" some pictures from the internet ha ha ha...

It is another 48 years to see this smiley face again. I wish I have the chance! :)

Latio's Disaster

Something happened to Latio.
Our front porch light blew, bombed, and the glass containing the lights broken.
So this is a small matter rite? The BIG problem is that Latio is parked rite there...so....this was what happened...

The lights were burned...the glasses broken...our ceiling is black...

It is like our house & car being attacked by Loan Shark with petrol bomb...

Lessons learned:

Always check that your lights are working. Do not contain the light in glass box...it might get overheated...

BLACKLISTED - RIVER VIEW SEAFOOD RESTAURANT, KUALA SELANGOR

Eugene & I went to Kuala Selangor to try out the so called "famous" seafood there...We were quite excited as this is our very first time visting Kuala Selangor...
It is quite a long drive from our house...the journey took about 1 hour...
By time we reached there, we were quite relieved and hungry :p...
As we not sure which restaurant is nice, we just decided to choose the one with the most crowd, thinking that might not go wrong!!!
So we went to this River View Seafood Restaurant. It was full of people eating, drinking, and singing birthday song...so we ordered while the staff cleaned up the table (for which just left)...
We ordered steamed crab with egg, buttered prawn, fried oyster, and fried vege.
So we waited quite a while for the food to be served.
The first dish is the vege...ok...it looked nice, tasted not bad and the vege was fresh...
okay, then came the fried oyster...I donno y, but it was cold and tasteless... (and the oysters were so small...)
Then we waited for another good 30 minutes to get our prawns & crab...
But crap, the food is cold, tasteless and not fresh seafood!!! What do you call yourself as a "famous" fishing village, when your seafood aren't fresh!!! Totally totally disappointing.

Boys and girls, recognize this restaurant!!!

Disney's Bolt

Rebonded hair

On 16 Nov 2008, I did my first ever hair rebonding!!!
I went to b-Wah saloon at Tmn Malim Jaya, Melaka as per recommended by Lay Kuen.
At first, I wanted to curl, but I was quite scared that my hair will look like being bombed!
So I decided to do rebonding instead.
So b-Wah, who is the lady boss, gave me hair cut first. Then the workers started to put the chemical on my hair for rebonding & steam my hair...then I just wait wait wait...after some 40 minutes, they washed off the chemicals, straighten & blew my hair dry...then I was given a hair mask & steam...wait wait wait...then wash and blew dry...volla!!! I am done with rebonding!!!
The whole process took me about 2.5 hours and cost me RM200 :p
I may add some color to my hair later :p...will see...

On 15 Nov 2008, a few of my NGA coligs have visited Melaka. We went out together on that rainy Saturday (raining becoz of D*rr*ck, ha ha ha).

That nite, we ride Taming Sari...We were inside the ride while Jonathan took this pic! :) It looks stunning in picture! The ride cost RM10 and it is very fast. It is quite fun for an experience, I would say :)

In the afternoon earlier, we went to Donald & Lily's corner to have our cendol and nyonya food.
All in all, I would say the only nice one is the cendol! :p, I am sorry, but I have to be honest...coz the foodl is not very nice...
This is the nyonya laksa, personally I think the santan is too thick and lack of aroma :p

This is the so-called asam fish...the lady's fingers are nice...the fish is ok...but the asam (or curry instead?!) is quite thick...taste a bit ... errrr... i donno how to describe...but not very nice...

DR. Fish Spa

On Sunday, I did my first (and maybe also last?!) fish spa treatment. I went to this place called DR. Fish Spa at Dataran Sunway Kota Damansara, PJ.
It is RM38/45minutes.
When we (Eugene & I) entered the shop, we were required to change to slippers and wash our feet. Then we were ready to feed the hungry (I assume so...:p) fish...
Oh gosh....I was so scared when all the fish swam to my legs and started eating...the feeling is so weird, I can't help but grabing Eugene's hand...hard, real hard!!! ha ha ha...
But the weird feeling went off just 1/2 minutes...then you can enjoy the rest of 43 minutes...ha ha ha...
In the mean time, I also played with the fish. I tried to grab them out of the air, but they are very alert... ha ha ha (I din't mean to kill them...just play play :p) they are very funny fish, I would say ha ha ha...
Time flies...when the slot finished, we washed our feet again, paid and then headed for dinner...
Well, this is quite a good experience, but I think not doing 2nd time...ha ha ha...

THE BIG RED FUN DAY 16 AUG 2008

Halliburton is hosting their family day event at FRIM, Kepong this year. It is the Big Red Fun Day 2008.

Eugene and I got up early that day and went for wantan mee breakfast first before we headed to FRIM hehe.

First thing first, it is the opening ceremony by the director by cutting some red balloons.

Then Fitness First exercise session.

Eugene exercising.

Some activities/special counters on that day: Sand art, Candy floss, rock climbing, and karaoke.

Later there were some telematches. Eugene in Tug of War.

Last but not least, the prize giving ceremony hehe...a bunch of adults acting like small kids :p

All in all, it was a fun day & we manage to swap the lucky draw present (a comforter) with Khairil for his kitchen set hehe :)

Cameron retreat

Couple of weeks ago, Eugene and I went to Cameron together with Benny + Felicia and Victor + Jess.

This is my second visit to Cameron since 4 years ago :p.

We went to the Boh Tea Centre Cafe. This cafe is so crowded during the weekends. You will have to walk up there as no cars are allowed to go up the hill.

The strawberry pie and cake are quite nice, especially the pie, when it is eaten hot!

Our Latio Sport

Eugene has "ditched" his goldie Waja to Kelantan...(now still no owner yet, kekeeke) for a Nissan Latio Sport.

May be he knew that petrol price going to hike, so he decided to changed to a more fuel economical car.

(Lucky that he listened to me, not getting Honda Accord...)

But anyway, Nissan is always a reliable brand, which I like most.

We booked the car on May. We chose the color and added the impul mini aerokit.

When we get the car, we were really excited about it.

The car is shining in its twilight grey, and it is real spacious (errr...but got a bit of problem for me to sleep at the back, cannot lie down properly...not enuf space to stretch my legs :p), but overall it is nice and we are really satisfied with our choice! :D

Snow Ear/White Fungus

Recently, I read some articles talking about benefits of white fungus. It is full of collagen and very good to skin complexion...hehehe...

It is cheap and much better than expensive bird nest. So I decided to research more and try it out.

Snow fungus

Snow fungus (Tremella fuciformis, also known as white fungus or silver tree-ear fungus) is a type of jelly fungus (a kind of mushroom) that is used in Chinese cuisine. In Chinese, it is called 银耳 (pinyin: yín ěr; literally "silver ear"), 雪耳 (pinyin: xuě ěr; literally "snow ear"); or 白木耳 (pinyin: bái mù ěr, literally "white wood ear"), and in Japanese it is called shiro kikurage (シロキクラゲ, lit. "white tree jellyfish").

The fungus grows in frilly masses on trees and is off-white in color and very translucent.

The product is often purchased dried and must be soaked before use. It is used in both savory and sweet dishes. While tasteless, it is enjoyed for its jelly-like texture as well as its supposed medicinal benefits. Most commonly, it is used to make a sweet dessert soup called luk mei (六味), often in combination with jujubes and dried longans, among other ingredients. It's also used as a component of a drink.

White fungus contains much iron, vitamin C, calcium and phosphorus. The fat and gum like protein in it is especially nourishing to the body. It is considered a good supplement to the body. Stew white fungus with rock sugar lubricates the colon and stimulates peristalsis. Thus, it is a mild laxative for constipation patients. White fungus is also said to be effective in nourishing the lungs, healing dry cough and clearing heat in the lungs. Those who have weak lungs catch cold easily. Eating stewed white fungus with rock sugar and red dates helps strengthen the respiratory system and thus, helps prevent cold. But take this sweet soup before catching cold or after healing. Do not take it while having a cold. Skin gets dry when people reach the middle age. Eating white fungus, grape juice and black sesame sweet paste in the morning, afternoon and at night respectively is the best way to take care of your skin. They aid blood production and bring more circulation to the skin to give you a moisturized-complexion.

My Actions:

So, after I have been very convinced with the goods of white fungus, I bought a small packet of white fungus from the mini-mart last night. Then I soaked in water for more than 1/2 hour, but still quite hard :p (I wonder why).

Then I thought maybe after I cooked it, it will be soft. Okay, then I go ahead boiling the fungus....boil...boil...boil...till water also almost dry up dy...mmh still hard!? Add water...continue boil...boil..boil...

Even though the fungus is not very soft yet, I decided to stop boiling. I drained the fungus and minced it using the juicer. After that, I add the crushed fungus to 250ml of milk and went through the juicer again. I drank it. It is okay, can chew a bit of fungus...Anyway, this is my first try with fungus milk, so I dared not add too much fungus :p. But, overall, it is ok and I think it is better to make the fungus paste smoother!!! Will try again next time or make some dessert.

作法：
一、先將白木耳洗淨、泡在水裡，待軟化後，再放入鍋內、加水，以小火煮爛，撈起後置於陰涼處半小時。
二、將陰涼後的白木耳數朵連同鮮奶240㏄放入果汁機裡打汁，變成白木耳牛奶。
三、可加入一顆柳丁打汁，味道更豐富。
功效：白木耳富含膠原蛋白，鮮奶含有氨基酸與維生素B群，可以幫助皮膚涵養水分、修補組織。
吃法：可以當作早餐，搭配三明治或麵包食用。

HABA skincare

I have been using HABA skincare for a while now. HABA skincare owns a website, but the Malaysia's one is very lousy, with limited information.

Few weeks ago, I also found out that the price list in Singapore is much cheaper!!! Some of the items are almost half the price in RM!!! How could this be?! I felt cheated!!! So, I visited the Sg's website. There I found quite a lot of useful info on how to use the products, etc. Then, I compiled the info. Here I would like to share with all....hehehe...

Oil Cleansing
(Make-up Remover)

A luxurious makeup remover oil which contains 35.8% of highly purified Squalane, helps to remove most stubborn makeup thoroughly, while maintaining the skins natural moisture balance.

Ingredient:Squalane, Isononyl Isononanoate, Triethylhexanoin, Sorbeth-40 Tetraoleate, Olive (Olea Europaea) Oil, Octyldodecanol, Tocopherol.

How To Use:

Step 1 To remove eye make-up and lipstick, apply oil to a cotton ball and gently wipe off, then rinse these areas with water.

Step 2 To remove all other make-up, squeeze a generous amount onto dry hands and massage oil into face.

Step 3 Rinse oil and make-up away with water. Water will look white when removing make-up. When water becomes clear, all make-up has been removed.

Powder Wash

(Face-washing Powder)

A gentle and effective face washing powder formulated with enzyme powder effectively remove dirt and dead skin cells. Also contains mild amino acid proteins and it's gentle enough for sensitive or acne-prone skin. Can be used as mask.

Ingredient:Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Lauryl Phosphate, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Water, Lauryl Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Methylaminopropionate, Squalane And Papain.

How To Use:
Step 1 Wet the face. Take about ½ tablespoon of Powder wash in the palm of the hand.

Step 2 Add a small amount of cold or lukewarm water and lather well until the gritty feel of the particles in the cleanser is gone.

Step 3 Rub hands together to create a lather. Cover the face with lather and gently wash the entire face. Do not scrub too hard.
· There is no need to scrub because the lather of Powder Wash absorbs and removes dirt from the skin. Mask the Face Gently with Lather
· Use the lather as a mask to effectively get rid of blackheads and pimples! Put some lather on affected areas and leave for 2-3 minutes then wash off.

Step 4 Be sure to rinse off the entire face with running water. Always try to rinse a bit longer than the washing time. Rinse off with cold or lukewarm water.

White Lady

(Whitening Serum)

Developed from a doctors formula, it contains a highly concentrated essence of 8% Sasa Kurilensis Water and 6% of water soluble vitamin C derivative that both stable and penetrating. Ideal for skin with dark spots, dullness, dehydrated and clogged pores.

Ingredient:Water, Sasa Kurilensis Water, Glycerine, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Pentylene Glycol, Polyquaternium-51, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Citric Acid.

How To Use:

Step 1 Squeeze serum into hands.

Step 2 Apply by gently patting onto face or areas of concern.

G Lotion
(Toning & Moisturising)
This lotion contains mineral derived from deep sea water and Sasa Kurliensis Water, which is excellent in bactericidal action and moisturising. Use daily will help to soften and hydrate skin.

Ingredient:Water, Butylenes Glycol, Sasa Kurilensis Water, Pentylene Glycol, Sea Salt, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Chondroitin Sulphate, Seaweed Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Scutelluria Baicalensis Root Extract, Hydrolysed Soy Protein, Succinic Acid, Aluminium Chloride, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate.

How To Use:
Step 1 Shake liquid into hands.

Step 2 Apply with hands by patting onto face. Heat from hands warms toner and helps to penetrate into skin. If desired, a cotton ball can be used.

VC Lotion
(Toning & Moisturising)
This exquisite formula contains 2% of water soluble vitamin C derivative, helps to prevent formation of blemishes. Use daily for a clean and translucent skin.

Ingredient:Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerine, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Mulberry Extract, Sodium Riboflavin Phosphate, Peach (Prunus Persica) Leaf Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Tetrasodium Etidronate.

How To Use: (Same like G Lotion; VC Lotion contains Vitamin C)

(Milky Lotion)

How To Use:

Step 1 Either spray directly onto face or spray into hands.

Step 2 Apply by gently patting onto skin.

Squalane
(Beauty Oil)
This enhanced moisturiser protects skin from drying and ultraviolet rays. This squalane oil has high purity of 99.9%. Squalane helps on increase the skin ability to absorb nutrients from other skin care products, leaving skin smooth and supple.

How To Use:

Step 1 Start with 1 drop, up to a maximum of 3.

Step 2 Apply to hands while they are still moist from toner or add a little water, if necessary.

Step 3 Apply to face and body.

White Knight
(Oil Control Gel)
This 24 hours oil control gel was approved as medicated cosmetic. It contains vitamin A, E and 10% of oil soluble vitamin C derivative which promote high stability and help on deep penetration. How To Use:

2-Way Jell
(Mask)
Gel mask that naturally heats to clean clogged pores and remove dead skin cells. Leaves your skin feeling smooth and moisturised. It promotes skin metabolism.

How To Use:

Step 1 Squeeze a generous amount of gel into hands.

Step 2 Apply gel to face and wait 2-3 minutes before removing (mask will not become hard). Mask may feel warm

Step 3 Use water to remove mask, do not use a washcloth as this could irritate skin. Use once or twice a week, or as needed.
